Deborah Furst

Biography:
Deb Furst is a Professional Tutor in the Pathways-Tutoring Center at the Danforth Library. Deb has a JD and a BS in Recreation and is a member of the NH Bar. She previously taught Legal Studies for ten years at another small liberal arts college. Deb has also worked in non-profit human service organizations and has done computer work for large corporations. Deb has a great deal of experience doing legal writing and has interests in political science, history, and business, as well as law.
Deb likes to garden, sew, and design funky embroidered t-shirts for her kids. Deb believes that tutoring is a way to model other ways of accomplishing a goal, and that college is a four year experiment in life101 – Learning how to live a real life in the real world.
