Julie is a 1988 graduate of New England College with a B of the Arts in Secondary Education and a 1994 graduate of Fairfield University with a Master’s of Arts in Community Counseling. She is currently licensed in both New Hampshire and Vermont as a Mental Health Counselor and has been a National Certified Counselor since 1994. She is a native of Henniker and her father was a professor of mathematics for over 40 years here at NEC. Julie has worked with a variety of individuals and in various settings but finds working within a college community most rewarding. Her approach to counseling varies depending on individual needs. Her desire is to help each person recognize their gifts & skills, to utilize these to reach their dreams and goals, and to love and have confidence in who they are and can become.
Julie enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including biking, skiing, snowshoeing, and boating. She also likes reading, watching movies, listening to music, and good food. Most of all Julie enjoys spending time with her family & friends.
