Student Senate – comprised of students from all different aspects of campus – comes together once a week to make large decisions on behalf of the student body. The club corresponds with faculty, staff, and administration on behalf of student concerns and desires, and in doing that they have become the recognized voice of the students. Senate also receives a large sum of money to spend on capital expense items chosen by the student body. This year, new water fountains with re-fill stations are being brought to campus to accommodate our active campus. Although the club is made up of an executive board and senators, any student is encouraged to attend the meetings and voice their opinions.
Student government information (constitution, meetings, and programs) is available to the public through the Senate office, located in the Simon Center, room 306 or the Office of Student Involvement, room 314-315.
Every Tuesday at 7:00PM in the Simon Center Board Room
