NEC Men’s Basketball Headed to Top Seeded Maine-Farmington for NAC Quarterfinal

HENNIKER, N.H. – New England College men’s basketball has earned the #8 seed heading into the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men’s Basketball Playoffs and will travel to take on the top-seeded University of Maine Farmington Beavers on Tuesday, Feb. 19.

The Pilgrims finished the regular season with an overall record of 3-22  and a NAC record of 3-15, while the Beavers closed out the regular season 20-5 overall and 15-3 in conference.  The two teams have met twice this season as Farmington has taken both games, including an 81-53 game at Farmington in early December and more recently an 85-76 game earlier this month in Henniker.

The game is scheduled for Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at the Dearborn Gym located on the campus of University of Maine Farmington in Farmington, Maine.  Check the NEC Athletic website for more information on game coverage.

The winner of Tuesday’s quarterfinal matchup will advance to the NAC Semifinals which will be held Friday, March 1 at the highest remaining seed’s institution.
