NEC Women’s and Men’s Hockey Teams Heading to ECAC East Playoffs

New England College women's ice hockey will enter the ECAC East wh-white 2 ADJ 600w.jpgPlayoffs as the #5 seed finishing the regular season with a 10-12-3 overall record and a record of 8-9-2 in the ECAC East/NESCAC play. The Pilgrims will be matched up with the fourth-seeded Salve Regina University Seahawks who have a record of 13-9-3 overall and an ECAC East/NESCAC record of 10-6-3.

The Pilgrims will battle the Seahawks on Friday, February 26 at 5:00 p.m. at the Hunt Family Hockey Rink on the Portsmouth Abbey campus in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. The winner will advance to the ECAC Semifinals scheduled for Saturday, March 6 at the highest remaining seed. Tickets for Friday’s quarterfinal game will be available at the door.

The Pilgrims will be matched up with the third seeded Castleton State College Spartans who have a record of 9-11-5 overall and an ECAC East/NESCAC record of 7-9-3.

The Pilgrims will take on the Spartans on Saturday, February 27 at 7:00 p.m. at Castleton State College in Castleton, Vermont. The winner will advance to the ECAC Semifinals scheduled for Friday, March 5 at the highest remaining seed. Tickets for Saturday's quarterfinal game will be available at the door.
