NEC Women’s Basketball Forward Taylor Burgess Named NAC Player of the Week

HENNIKER, N.H. - New England College women’s basketball forward Taylor Burgess (Randallstown, Mass.) has been named the North Atlantic Conference Player of the Week for her performance throughout the opening weekend of the season.
Sophomore Burgess paced the Pilgrims to a 1-1 record this weekend posting two double-doubles. In Friday's win over Anna Maria Burgess led all scorers finishing with 20 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Burgess followed Friday with a 23 point, 13 rebound performance in an overtime loss to Gordon College.
