Applying for Financial Assistance
In order to receive an offer of federal and/or institutional financial assistance, Student Financial Services will collect data from you on required forms in order to make a financial aid determination.
Please note that initial awards will be tentative unless all required forms are submitted at the time of review. A tentative award is one that is not finalized and is based on preliminary data submitted and may change once all forms verifying your financial income, asset information, and other data is submitted and reviewed by NEC.
Families are strongly encouraged to submit all financial aid application materials by the priority deadlines. Families may apply for financial aid at any time; however, priority consideration is given to on-time applicants. Funds are awarded on the basis of need and availability, so please adhere to federal, state, and institutional deadlines to ensure you receive the strongest award possible.
