A Message from the New England College Department of Campus Safety
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to New
England College and wish you success with your future endeavors. The
informal and friendly atmosphere of New England College is best
characterized by a strong sense of community spirit among the faculty,
staff and students, as well as between the College and the townspeople.
Crime is a fact of life on college campuses today.
Unfortunately, our small, rural setting does not exempt us from this
fact. The responsibility for crime prevention does not rest solely
with the Department of Campus Safety. It is shared by you and all of the
members of the College community. Your involvement is the most
important factor in crime prevention. The success of prevention depends
largely on you following sound security practices and immediately
reporting suspicious or criminal activity. Remember, the potential for
crime does exist, but by following the suggestions outlined in this
section, you can substantially reduce the possibility of becoming a
victim. We hope you will find this information helpful. Should you have
specific requests or questions please don't hesitate to contact us at
(603) 428-2323.
William A. Christiano
Director of Campus Safety
