Military Affiliation Tuition Discount: A 10% tuition discount is available to eligible veterans, members of the Reserve and National Guard, their spouses, and dependents of disabled or deceased veterans. This discount is not available for enrollment in the Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Doctor of Education (EdD), or Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programs. Eligibility is subject to verification, and applicants must provide appropriate documentation demonstrating qualifying military status or affiliation. Students who qualify for both this tuition discount and an NEC scholarship or institutional grant will receive the greater of the two awards; the tuition discount may not be combined with other NEC-funded scholarships or grants.
In 2025, NEC was designated a Purple Heart College, joining a national network of institutions committed to honoring and supporting Purple Heart recipients and military-connected students. The designation reflects NEC’s longstanding commitment to service, access, and student support.
