A serious cybersecurity workforce gap existed in the United States even before the COVID-19 outbreak. According to an article in Tripwire, that gap totaled 500,000 jobs. Citing the (ISC)2 Cybersecurity Workforce Study, the article says the sector needs to grow by 62 percent to meet the demands of U.S. businesses. Everything has changed.
