2024 New Hampshire Legislative Election Forum
Candidates for the New Hampshire State Senate in District 7 and the New Hampshire House of Representatives in the Merrimack 8 District will participate in the 2024 New Hampshire Legislative Election Forum, hosted by the New England College Center for Civic Engagement and the Henniker Chamber of Commerce.
Each forum will begin with a 60-second introduction from each candidate before moving to several prepared questions and then to questions from the audience, if time permits.
Location: Simon Center Great Room; 98 Bridge Street; Henniker, NH
Date and Time: Wednesday, October 16, at 6:00 p.m.
Schedule:
- 5:30 p.m.—Arrival and time for coffee and conversation with candidates and attendees
- 6:00 p.m.—Forum with State House Merrimack District 8 Candidates (six candidates)
- 6:45 p.m.—Conclusion of State House Forum
- 6:50 p.m.—Forum with State Senate District 7 Candidates (two candidates)
- 7:15 p.m.—Conclusion of State Senate Forum
This event is open to all members of the community, including New England College students. This year, students from NEC’s Presidential Elections seminar will be working to promote the event in Henniker, Bradford, and Warner as well as helping the Center for Civic Engagement develop questions.
