Student Senate – comprised of students from all different aspects of campus – comes together once a week to make large decisions on behalf of the student body. The club corresponds with faculty, staff, and administration on behalf of student concerns and desires, and in doing that they have become the recognized voice of the students. Senate also receives a large sum of money to spend on capital expense items chosen by the student body. Although the organization is made up of an executive board and senators, any student is encouraged to attend the meetings and voice their opinions.
Student government information (constitution, meetings, and programs) is available to the public through the Senate office, located in the Simon Center, room 505 or the Office of Student Engagement, rooms 314-315.
Student Senate meets the first, and third, Wednesday of every month at 11:45 a.m. in the Simon Board Room, located on the 5th floor of the Simon Center.
