Associate Vice President for New Business Development
Michael joined New England College after working with the New Hampshire Department of Education, where he was appointed by the governor to be the Director for Educator Support and Higher Education. With his team, he coordinated work for the Higher Education Commission and oversaw all teacher preparation programs, Veterans Education Services, career school licensing, and K–12 educator credentials.
Prior to working with the Department, he was a management consultant for 20 years and delivered over $100 million in savings to clients in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. While working with Gemini Consulting, Michael compiled and developed the tools, methodology, and training for their Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence in Paris. He trained junior and senior colleagues from offices around the globe and played a key role in establishing the Supply Chain practice in the U.S. Prior to his consulting work, he held various sales and training positions, where he received several awards.
He has volunteered his time for numerous non-profit groups along the way, including a mayoral appointment to the City of Nashua’s Environment and Energy Committee.
Michael has an International MBA from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and the University of South Carolina. He was honored as class salutatorian. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame, where he studied electrical engineering and business management. He pursued additional studies at Harvard University, University of Massachusetts, and Southern New Hampshire University, where he was a guest speaker for graduate and undergraduate classes.
He spends his free time with his wife and two children enjoying outdoor activities.
