NEC Hosts First District Congressional Debate

The Center for Civic Engagement at New England College hosted a debate for the 2010 general elections for Congress in the first district. The debate between Democrat Carol Shea Porter and Republican Frank Guinta, was held on Tuesday, October 19 in the Simon Center.

New England College partnered with the Concord Monitor, New Hampshire Business Review, WMUR.com, and WGIR radio to sponsor the debate. The debate was broadcast live by WGIR radio and streamed live on WMUR.com. Please click here to view the archived video.

Questions were prepared by a panel representing each of the media partners including: Charlie Sherman, WGIR Morning Host; Clay Wirestone, Reporter for the Concord Monitor; and Jeff Feingold, Editor of the New Hampshire Business Review.
