Excited to get your college career started and meet new friends? Adventure Bound offers a NEWT program specifically for first-year NEC students. This program is run and led by our students who are trained in backpacking, wilderness medicine, facilitation, and leadership. NEWT is open to students of all abilities and is a great opportunity to enjoy the White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire. Students spent one night in the NEC woods, and three days backpacking (averaging 3-6 miles a day). See a packing list here.
